Fermentation Room

After the wort has settled in the Hot Wort Tank, it goes underneath the brewhouse, where it cools down before it reaches the yeast in the Fermentation Tanks. Here we ferment the beer for 10-12 days, settle the yeast out and move the beer into storage tanks.

Note: If the wort hits the yeast at too high a temperature, it will kill the yeast and ruin the batch. This would result in many a broken heart.
