• Directions from San Antonio
  1. Take IH 10 East to Exit 632   (183 South to Gonzales)
  2. Take a RIGHT--Head South on 183 towards Gonzales
  3. Just outside of Gonzales, take a LEFT on Business 183--you should see a McCoy’s store on your left
  4. Take a LEFT (2 nd Light) on ALT 90 EAST
  5. Take ALT 90 EAST into Shiner
  6. Just outside the Shiner city limits, you will come to CR 348.   Take a LEFT on CR 348 and proceed about ½ mile and the parking attendants will be more than happy to direct you to your parking slot.
• Directions from Houston
1. Take IH 10 WEST
2. Take the Flatonia exit (Exit 661)--Take a left on Hwy 95 heading south
3. You will pass through Moulton, Texas. (Watch your speed).   Once in Shiner, you will approach FM 3435--take a right on FM 3435.   Continue approx. one mile to Avenue B and take a right on Avenue B (Should be a sign that says Municipal Park -->).
4. Continue down Avenue B, past the cemetery at CR 348 and the next left will be Park Road 2. Take a left at Park Road 2 and the parking attendants will be happy to direct you to your parking slot.
• Directions from Austin
  1. Head South on 183 towards IH 10
  2. Cross IH 10 and proceed to Gonzales
  3. Just outside of Gonzales, take a LEFT on Business 183 – you should see a McCoy’s store on your left
  4. Take a LEFT (2nd Light) on ALT 90 EAST
  5. Take ALT 90 EAST into Shiner
  6. Just outside the Shiner city limits, you will come to CR 348. Take a LEFT on CR 348 and proceed about ½ mile and the parking attendants will be more than happy to direct you to your parking slot.

Once you get there:

Green Dickson Park is just North of County Road 348.

Free Parking will be available. General Parking opens at 11:00 A.M. (Only camping and permit parking are allowed in the area prior to 11:00 A.M.) Gate Ticket Booth begins sales at 10:30 A.M.

Green Dickson Park will open for camping on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. and close on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. (noon). It is not required to reserve a camp site to attend Shiner Bocktoberfest—it is offered as a convenience and is available only to Shiner Bocktoberfest patrons. For this reason, you must show proof of Shiner Bocktoberfest ticket purchase for each person in your party at check-in. Overnight parking is not allowed without a paid reservation. The deadline to make online advance camping reservations is Friday, September 29, 2006. All online advance camping reservations must be paid in full by Friday, October 6, 2006. Reservations are not guaranteed until you have received a reservation confirmation receipt. An additional fee of $10 will be applied to all walk-up camping reservations.
