What To Bring

You and other Shiner fans will be traveling to Shiner from all over the country. Here are a few things to keep in mind so everyone will enjoy the show.

No in/outs allowed —This is for the safety of everyone at the event. Once you leave, you cannot re-enter. There will be plenty of restrooms and a general store for essentials. Anyone that leaves the show will be required to purchase another ticket to return to the show.

ATM Machines —ATM machines available inside the concert grounds and at the gate ticket booth outside the event.

Be sure to bring:

  • Your friends & family — the more the merrier
  • A valid ID — you must be 21 or older to purchase beer, and you will be asked
  • Comfortable clothes — Bocktoberfest lasts over 10 hours, dress appropriately
  • Lawn chairs (not lounge chairs!) — we have marked off a special section for you and your chair to relax & enjoy the show (NOTE: Lawn chairs of any kind will NOT be allowed after 4:00 p.m.)
  • Weather appropriate items — Ponchos for a wet day, sunscreen for the heat

Be sure to leave the following items at home:

  • All weapons (guns, knives, etc.)
  • Knives of any type (including Swiss-army knives, pocketknives, you get the picture)
  • Mace or pepper spray
  • Blankets or lay-down lounge chairs — Instead bring lawn chairs, they are more comfortable!
  • Ice chests, food/drink
  • Pets (other than service animals) — There will be plenty of 2-legged creatures roaming around
  • Cameras, tape recorders or other forms of audio / video recording equipment — Our artists prefer you to remember the premier music event unassisted by any technology.
  • Items that may endanger band members or friends in the crowd — including sharp metal objects, laser lights, fireworks, glass containers, etc.

As you enter the concert you will pass through security screeners and a metal detector. Prohibited items will be confiscated by security and be considered donations for the Shiner junkyard, and will not be returned. Please leave all prohibited items at home.
