Shiner Light

Only a handcrafted light beer with an exceptionally smooth taste and full flavor could ever carry the Shiner name. In 1909, the founders of the Spoetzl Brewery were determined to brew a beer better than any other available. Nearly 100 years later, our goal was the same—to brew a light beer better than any other. The result is a full-flavored, deep amber light beer that has been officially approved by some of our toughest critics—the citizens of Shiner, Texas—and, we hope, by you!

Shiner light is a full-flavored, deep amber light beer. Our brewmaster blends choice Munich malt and select hops with pure Artesian water to create a beer that’s lower in calories (120 per 12 fl. oz.) but full of the rich flavor you expect from Shiner beers.

Every bottle of Shiner Light bears the signature of a citizen of Shiner, Texas—a stamp of approval to remind folks that there is only one light beer good enough to carry the Shiner name.
