Shiner Kölsch™ is a delightfully effervescent, clean brew authentically fashioned after the German Kölsch biers of the 1800’s.

The Kölsch Bier style originated in Cologne, Germany, in the 1850s as an alternative to the Pilsners of the day. Kölsch Bier is mashed for an extended period of time, then fermented relatively warm and aged cold. The warm, extended fermentation generates a beer with fruity notes and a crisp, clean finish—ideal for hot summer days.
